Greetings!

Hello! This is a quick welcome to my blog, Author Crush. This will certainly be updated every Sunday, but there may be posts in between. Each Sunday post will discuss an author I've read or that I am reading. This blog is not, under any circumstances, to be considered Literary Criticism. I don't have a degree in English, and am not an authority on the subject. Do not use this in a paper. However, if you're looking for a good author or book to read, I'll provide some good information. Posts in between will most likely be used as a place to discuss things that happen in my life or what I'm currently writing for my Fan Fiction. Here's a link to my page.
For some basic background, I read extensively, and am not restricted to one genre. I read everything from Shakespeare to Neil Gaiman to Jane Austen. I don't usually read nonfiction, but if I happen upon one that I think is really well written, then I will definitely comment on it.
Author Crush, therefore, is a phrase I invented that is usually used as a verb. It means to wish or to aspire to be like a particular writer. Example sentence: I have an author crush on Neil Gaiman, because of his masterful writing and wonderful imagination.
